The Challenge
I was tasked with designing and developing a website, built from the branding work I did with Lily. It needed to fulfil her need to be easy to update, but still demonstrate her creative side, without limiting how much she can talk about her work.
Incorporating animation and dynamics in the website brings Lily’s playful side into the website.
The Solution
We used a combination of a Content Management System and bespoke coding to display unique information on dynamic pages, eliminating the need to create new pages for each project, whilst ensuring the content revealed is necessary and intuitively structured.
The Build
With this incorporation, Lily is able to update her portfolio from her phone. She can add in all the standard information like event name, date, and the company she has worked for, along with being able to upload images straight from her camera roll. As a freelancer, I totally understand the need for this kind of design.
The Impact
Lily is now able to use her website to funnel leads as a freelancer as well as to host her portfolio and an archive of the work she is involved in. The website also serves as a place where lily can keep her financial records, utilising Wix’s Proposal, Quotes and Invoicing system.
