The Challenge

Design a logo and branding for a modern engineering company. With references such as workwear brands Dickies and Carhartt, the client wanted a logo that represented the contemporary business.

The Solution

Inspired by 1950s character design, I also took references from traditional tattoo styles and the client's own styles and references.

The Build

I drew sketches in procreate, then transferred to Adobe Fresco and then to photoshop for composition and the t-shirt mockup.

The Impact

A character that can be utilised across branding collateral. Characters and designs such as this can help to build community around a brand. They act as mascots that clients are inclined to sport on apparel or in collateral to bolster their own image.
