Design a newspaper to be used as both a menu and marketing collateral for a music event.

The Solution
The Challenge
Belvedere vodka wanted to exhibit a Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City style aesthetic at their pop up bar at the Keinemusik event. They want to sell vodka as a status symbol, as well as a drink. Their menu comprised of vodka based cocktails.

The Solution
I designed a double page spread of a fictional newspaper The Daily Belvedere, complete with custom illustration and some copy provided by Krankbrother.
The Build
I used a new software for this build called Inkscape. It provided me with the features I needed from both Photoshop and Illustrator. I used Adobe fresco for the illustrations, drawing in Vector to ensure the quality of the illustrations, regardless of any resizing.

I started by creating several bespoke illustrations of cocktails, carrie bradshaw and various.

I placed the illustrations, along with the copy into inkscape and began laying out the newspaper based on the size of the copy.

Finally, I created realistic mockups to present to the client before going to print.
